The Ultimate Minimalist Stove:

Welcome to simple, sustainable outdoor cooking for the ultralight, 'low-environmental-footprint' explorers of the world.

The Stove1 V1.TS titanium stove redefines the experience of free and easy water food/beverage preparation through simplicity, durability, and practical logic.

Crafted to Perfection:

The heavy-duty 1.5mm thick stove is extruded and then precision laser cut from seamless high-grade titanium; a testament to engineering excellence that will be a part of your travels for life.

We are proud to say that Stove1 isn't another mass-produced, rebranded, cookie-cutter product stamped out of a roll of the thinnest sheet-metal possible. We resisted the temptation to design a stove that looks great on face value but that offers a 'veneer' of durability just to make a sale.

Imagine for a Second:

  • The 'love-child' of a fire pit, hobo-cooker, a stove windscreen, a pot stand, a military tablet stove, an alcohol-burning cook system, a box stove and a rocket stove.
  • Technology (design, machining and premium material) commonly found in  performance motorsports engineering.
  • A stove designed for compatibility with alcohol/methylated spirit burners and Esbit/Hexamine fuel tablets, with the ability to switch to burning infinite and free biofuel if you are restricted by conditions, danger, or regulations.
  • Build quality so good, so over-engineered where it matters, that it will last for generations.

Buy it once...Use it for life...

Our Brief: Design, test and produce a one-component stove that can be taken into the field and relied upon with alcohol burners or fuel tablets, that seamlessly transitions to burning biofuel at any time.

We made it light, streamlined (no moving parts), thermally efficient, easy to maintain, environmentally sound, upgrade-able, and so tough that it will outlast all of us.

Stove1 is perfect for recreational thru-hiking, bushwalking, hunting, day walks, day hikes, camping, cycle touring, bike packing, fast packing, fishing trips, bug-out bags, EDC, or for simply making a coffee at your beach or lakeside picnic.

Stove1 is also ideal for military applications, humanitarian support and disaster relief where there is a place for a dependable multi-fuel capable compact stove that can be used infinitely, and at no ongoing cost (in wood-burning mode).

🔥 Experience the Stove1 🔥

At a mere 170 grams (5.99oz), Stove1 is designed to effortlessly accompany you on every expedition.

Standing at 110mm (4.33in) with a diameter of 88.9mm (3.5in), Stove1 strikes the perfect balance between fuel-capacity-for-purpose, performance, durability, and packed size.

With the Stove1 we have chosen to use 1.5mm (.059in) thick polished titanium, making it the thickest and most durable stove available in this category, bar-none.

The titanium wall thickness is deliberately over-engineered because we have shed so much weight by doing away with hinges, welds, screws, sections, pins, rivets, panels, folding arms, and any need to 'assemble' anything.

That's a 205kg solid concrete Atlas Stone sitting on top of the Stove1.

Stove1 is built to withstand the elements, and year-on-year use and abuse. Think of it as a practical tool as much as a cool bit of kit, like a hammer, wrench, or classic metal bottle opener that your grandpa passed on to you.

The Stove1 titanium stove stands apart as a beacon of elegance and functionality - no hinges, no sections, no physical assembly setup, no thin material bending or flexing under heat or load, and no redundant material you have to haul around.

🌬️ Wind Screen & Fuel Loading Port Window: Efficient and Protected 🌬️

The built-in windscreen serves a dual-purpose. Not only does it provide a barrier against wind gusts impacting the most critical area of combustion within Stove1, but it also protects you from direct heat and flame exposure while loading fuel through the fuel loading port window. Set up your Stove1 with the Wind Screen facing the wind.

As long as you keep loading it with clean dry fuel through the fuel loading port window, Stove1 will keep burning hot.

Fuel Prep: Simply break up branches and twigs by hand, or use your field knife to baton them to size. Taking a few minutes to prepare your fuel (twigs and branches) to sections of wood no longer than 10cm/4in, will provide the most relaxed and efficient burn experience.

Once the fire is established, feed these sections of wood in and angle them downward through the Fuel Window to allow them to naturally 'slide/fall down' into the core of the fire, just like a rocket stove.

In most cases, a 5-10min burn is all it takes to boil water for re-hydrating a meal or preparing a hot drink, which is made even faster with clean, dry fuel. Use sticks, small dead branches, bark chips, wood pellets, fuel tablets, or even a classic like the Trangia style spirit burner (not associated in any way or included) which sits perfectly inside Stove1.

The alcohol burners and fuel tabs give the best, smoke-free experience, however using dry hardwoods in wood burning mode will reduce emissions/smoke considerably.

Stove1: Multi-fuel capable (burners and Esbit/Hexamine tablets are not included).

Mesh-Array of Holes: Enhancing Combustion and Heat Transfer

At the core of Stove1's efficiency lies a mesh array of 420 precision laser-cut holes that are anything but ordinary. They serve a dual purpose: to draw in oxygen around the base to fuel combustion and to then transfer the resulting heat directly upwards toward the top of the stove and out around the base of your pot or pan.

The chamber that is then formed under the base of your pot/pan (the portion that is not perforated) slows the ascending gasses, evening out heat intensity. This results in less direct-flame contact in one specific place, and reducing the likelihood that you will burn either your pot, pan, or your food. It's kind of cool that we only really discovered that during testing, almost by surprise.

This means that each burn is as efficient and controlled as possible.

🍳 Specialized for On-the-Go Meals 🍳

This stove has been developed primarily to quickly boil water for use in high-quality dehydrated meals and ration packs, as well as for making hot beverages. And you can even cook fresh meals such as eggs or a steak on Stove1 with no problems at all.

Bear in mind you are not going to be getting out a saute pan and capers to make a multi-tier gourmet meal with a Stove1. It just isn't made for that. It is made to quickly and easily heat only what you need, and just get out of the way when it comes to pack up and transport.

This stove provides you with a dependable tool made for efficient, SIMPLE meal/beverage preparation without ANY unnecessary complexities.

⚖️ Light Load, Less Waste ⚖️

Give the middle finger to bulky single-use gas canisters and heavy fuel bottles. Stove1's innovative yet solid design eliminates the need for excess weight in fuel.

A stable base of earth or stone for set up, plus a few twigs and organic litter to burn are all that is needed to power Stove1 – a FREE fuel source that is abundant globally.

Furthermore, if you are in a circumstance where you are not permitted or able to safely burn wood, the Stove1 can easily be used as a windscreen and pot stand for common types of alcohol stoves such as the classic Trangia burner, firelighter blocks, alcohol pillbox stones, and fuel tablets like Esbit offer. Ideal for the concealment of location signatures with no smoke, for fire prevention, and to reduced emissions.

Simply place your burner or fuel source on a stable, level, fire-safe surface and light it up. Then place your Stove1 over the top, add your cook pot or pan and you are in business.

🌦️ Weatherproof and Durable 🌦️

With the greatest corrosion resistance and strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, the polished titanium Stove1 guarantees longevity even after extended use in varying conditions.

It won't rust or corrode, as titanium is exceptionally resistant to chemical attack/impact, and can withstand a wide range of temperature extremes.

As unique as your adventures: Stove1 will naturally patina with heat-anodisation and use... Magenta, purple, blue, yellow and green. This image gives a really good sense of the colouring as well as the wall thickness of the solid titanium.

🌍 A Vision Born of Exploration 🌍

Behind the Stove1 concept stands a Guinness World Record-holding ultra-distance athlete and explorer.

In early 2023, a 100-day 2677.34km solo expedition was conducted with a cooking system that was based around a Iso-Butane canister and burner combination. This produced 4 empty canisters, and over 2kg of added weight to the overall expedition kit weight. That may not sound like much, but to put it into perspective, that weight was in addition to another 40kg of equipment that was hauled for an average of 40km per day. The 2kg really did matter.

"I just kept looking around at this infinite resource of small twigs, branches and sticks that I could use to boil water for coffee and for food-prep but rarely had the time or need to build a full-blown fire. So decided when I made it home, to find a way to work smarter...to cut back on these gas canisters for something free to use most of the time, compatible with multiple fuel types...to build something that is rock-solid and dependable. The idea appealed to me, of grabbing one item (stove1) and a hand full of free and plentiful twigs to easily heat filtered water for a coffee or meal. Then to have the fail-safe option of a second, 100% available fuel source available (like alcohol) should it be needed. " - PC

So, driven by a desire to find a wood-fired but multi-fuel-capable cooking solution that met all of those requirements, we set out to make something new.

So Stove1 is a vision realized purely through experience.

🌲 Environment Matters 🌲

With Stove1, our commitment to the environment is as strong as our dedication to innovation. We believe that every product should have some degree of responsibility to contribute positively to the world we explore and enjoy.

Stove1 embodies this belief in every aspect of its design by primarily burning wood for fuel. Wood that is already abundant and within our planet's natural carbon cycle.

🌱 A Beacon of Sustainability 🌱

Our stove isn't just about cutting-edge engineering and outdoor convenience; it's about making a lasting impact on the environment.

Crafted from 100% recyclable titanium, Stove1 is a testament to our dedication to sustainability. Aside from the fact that it is literally built to outlast you.

Leave No Complex Waste or Landfill Behind

By using abundant natural fuel sources like twigs and organic litter, you can cook with a clean conscience.

PET plastic fuel bottles, enamel-coated gas canisters containing plastic valves and parts, and associated synthetic fuel packaging can take hundreds of years to break down if they make it to landfill. They often do due to the complexity of breaking them into separate materials.

We want as little to do with contributing to that appalling, growing problem globally.

🔥 Efficiency in Every Burn 🔥

Every meal or drink prepared on Stove1 is a testament to efficient fuel consumption with a balanced design that ensures that only the amount of material needed to heat your food or beverage is burned, minimizing waste and maximizing output.

The resulting byproduct – ash – goes back to the earth as a natural contribution, seamlessly integrating into the environment.

🧽 Easy to Clean 🧽

Why is there no integral base built into the stove? There are three reasons.

1. Weight Saving!! Through the removal of all redundant material in the design, at its essence, Stove1 is built to keep you fast and light.

2. Any Stable Surface forms a perfect base for Stove1. Place it on the dirt, on a rock, or on some stones and you have a perfectly suitable stove base. To go one step further, dig a small hole an inch or two deep, and set aside the dirt in a pile. Place your stove in the hole for cooking, then when you are done, use a stick to lift it off the burn pile and simply use your trowel to sweep the loose earth back over the remnants of the burn for a no-trace end to the process. To be fire-safe, soak the burn area with water.

3. Effortless cleaning. The main problem with almost all wood-burning stoves is they get messy with soot/carbon deposited during a burn. Especially with multiple uses over many days. This is made far harder to manage in designs that have corners, nooks & crannies, integral bases, hinges, and sections. Stove1 is a single cylinder in form, with no top, or integral base. So cleaning it is simply a matter of taking a wet pot scourer, rubbing the stove down inside and out to loosen the soot, then rinsing it. Finally, wipe it down with a microfiber cloth and it is clean and ready for the next use. Keep in mind that the patina of oxidization/anodization will help to preserve the titanium and resist heat so there is no need to scrub it too hard or polish it back to a mirror finish.

Stove1 is shown here with no base or top plate. There are optional extras that you can choose to add to your Stove1 system.

Optional Top/Bottom Plate. This precision 4 axis CNC machined plate (a solid 3mm thick) doubles as a base-plate for using fuel tablets, a top hotplate when using an alcohol burner, or in wood burning mode with the Stove1 placed on flat level ground. As these are complex to make and are not something you should need to pay for unless you need them, we are making them an optional extra. With the stepped edge they locate beautifully with great stability while in use.

NOTE: Do NOT use this as a base-plate with an alcohol burner as it may become unstable and dangerous while extinguishing your burner.

🌡️ Beyond Hazardous Alternatives 🌡️

It's essential to recognize that not all cooking options are equal when it comes to health. Iso-Butane canister stoves, while the most convenient, can be extremely hazardous to user health. Just take a moment to read the warnings on the bottles.

Join the Movement

It may take a few minutes longer than a canister stove to get to that rolling boil, but that's just fine. Lighting controlled small fires is a skill that you will quickly acquire - learning about ignition sources, embers, tinder, material sizes, placement, and supply rates for a perfect burn each time.

We want to help you get back to the idea of experiences outdoors.

Think of a Stove1 like fine espresso vs instant coffee.

Being out there and truly enjoying travel is built on taking the time to slow down a little and enjoy the experience.

We hope to help you do that with Stove1 in your kit.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and we look forward to delivering your new Stove1!!
